STADA Philippines brings cost-effective healthcare products to the Filipino market

“We want to grow our business and also, we want to do as much as we can to improve health care in the Philippines,” told Gary Clark, STADA’s Asia Pacific Managing Director.

STADA not only take part by providing treatment for diseases but also promotes overall well-being of every individual with their Out-of-the-counter drugs and nutraceuticals that is already been readily available in the market since July 2017. So far, the company already has nine registered products in the country.  “We are already here delivering products”, Clark said. “And now we are trying to exhilarate that process and introducing the product more quickly to the market and that’s one of the reasons why we are focusing on the over the counter medicines.

STADA’s OTC products are widely known in Europe and they have a very good manufacturing base several European countries such as Germany, Serbia and some manufacturing sites outside Europe, particularly in Vietnam.

Hence, STADA’s aims to launch new products in the second quarter of the year.  They also have couple of products in development like combination products to be launched by 2020.

In the next two to three years, the company hopes to bring innovative cardiovascular products to the Philippines. Meanwhile, STADA is also seeking to obtain partnerships with other pharmaceutical companies.
