Pursuing its commitment in championing healthy lifestyle among the global community, Hisamitsu Pharmaceuticals, in partnership with AffiniTea Races, will be holding the first-ever Asia Pacific Salonpas Run on January 13, 2018 at the SM Mall of Asia By the Bay.
For 170 years now, Hisamitsu has been providing the utmost means for humans around the world to utilize the many benefits of topical care. Its salient treasure, Salonpas, is every individual’s primary source of pain relief with its pioneering products designed to improve people’s quality of life. Due to its potent power to relieve aches, it has been widely recognized and now sells in 50 countries across the globe.
The fun run will cover four categories—3K, 5K, 10K, and 21K distances. Finishers of any category will receive a Finisher’s Medal, while those running for 21K will receive an additional Finisher’s Shirt.
Prior the race proper, participants will be asked to perform Taiso, Salonpas very own warm-up exercise routine. They will likewise have the chance to win special raffle prizes from the event’s generous sponsors, including Mizuno Shoes, Garmin GCs, Resorts World Chitty Bang Bang, Mercury Drug GCs, and Sharp Washing Machine.
Gun time is 4:00 AM for 21K, 5:00 AM for 10K, 5:30 AM for 5K, and 5:45 AM for 3K distances respectively. After the race, there will be a body combat demo done by Fitness First RCBC Platinum.
The registration fee for the fun run is P650 for 3K, P750 for 5K, P850 for 10K, and P1250 for 21K distances respectively.
Registration will be open until Thursday, January 11 and can be done at the following partner registration venues—SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, BGC, Alabang Town Center, Glorieta 5, SM North, and Binakayan. Online registration is also made available through AffiniTea Races website at www.affinitearaces.com.
The Salonpas Run is in cooperation with Mogu Mogu, Dole Food Company, Pocari Sweat, Fitbar, Nature’s Spring, Old Town White Coffee, Omizu, Mizuno, Milcu, Fitness First, Resorts World Manila, Sharp, Maynilad, Garmin, and Tong Garden.
The event would also like to thank its media and event partners — Pinoy Fitness, Takbo.ph, and SM by the Bay.
If the event comes out successfully, another Southeast Asia leg shall be followed in Singapore.
